I understand that Greener Bay Compost's service is a month-to-month, subscription-based service, not a one-time service, and that my Business / Organization will need to place a payment method on file that Greener Bay Compost may use for the purpose of monthly, recurring charges, for Greener Bay Compost to serve my Business / Organization. *

This applies even if a Business / Organization intends to use Grant Funding to cover some or all of the cost of their services with us, as we use our payment processor, Stripe, for automated, monthly billing purposes, to make our work as efficient as possible.

I understand that Greener Bay Compost's Service uses five gallon buckets, exclusively, for the purpose of food scraps and organics collections and that for Greener Bay Compost to serve my Business / Organization that my Business / Organization must be able to be served with five gallon buckets (as opposed to "Toter" style bins, wheeled carts, or dumpsters). *

Most small to mid-sized Businesses / Organizations, and even some larger ones, such as hospitals, can generally be easily (and most cost-effectively) served with five gallon buckets. That said, if your Business / Organization produces so much food waste that it needs "Toter" style bins, wheeled carts, or dumpsters to contain it, then your Business / Organization is likely not a good fit for our Service.

How many five gallon Greener Bay Compost buckets will your Business / Organization need to be swapped out each Tuesday for new, clean buckets, to start with? (Please note: The number of buckets your Business / Organization subscribes for with us may be increased or decreased, as necessary, over time/on a seasonal basis). *

PLEASE NOTE: We can change the number of buckets a Business / Organization is subscribed for at least monthly, if necessary. That said, most Businesses / Organizations partnered with us tend to "settle" on a certain number of buckets after a few months with us and stick with that number long-term, for the sake of simplicity.

How often will you need Greener Bay Compost to swap your full/semi-full Greener Bay Compost buckets for new, clean buckets? (Please note: The frequency of Bucket Swaps we perform for your Business / Organization may be adjusted, as necessary, over time/on a seasonal basis). *

PLEASE NOTE: An Every-Other-Week Bucket Swap frequency will always be less expensive for your Business / Organization than a Weekly Swap Frequency, due to reduced travel and labor costs on our end. As an aside, we can change the frequency of Buckets Swaps, if necessary, after a Business / Organization has begun utilizing our service. That said, most Businesses / Organizations partnered with us tend to "settle" on a particular Bucket Swap frequency after a few weeks or months with us and stick with that frequency long-term, for the sake of simplicity.

I understand that Greener Bay Compost currently only performs Bucket Swaps/Compost Pickups for Businesses / Organizations on Tuesdays. *

If your Business / Organization is unable to provide us access to our buckets in its possession on Tuesdays, then our service will, unfortunately, not work for your Business / Organization at this time.

I understand that Greener Bay Compost is a food-waste-focused compost company, which only accepts certain types of organic materials, and have familiarized myself with Greener Bay Compost's list of Acceptable and Not Acceptable Materials (www.GBCompost.com/List) to confirm that the materials my Business / Organization wishes to compost with Greener Bay Compost are Acceptable to Greener Bay Compost. *

I understand and agree.

If a material is not listed as Acceptable on our List of Acceptable and Not Acceptable Materials, we do not want it. This includes, but is not limited to, non-food-related materials such as cardboard and cardboard dust pucks, paper fines, paper mill "sludge," manure, "biodegradable" (as opposed to certified compostable) products, someone else's finished/failed compost, lawn mower clippings/yard waste (particularly if contaminated with herbicides/weed killer, etc.), and anaerobic "digestate."

PLEASE NOTE: We have a preference for pre-consumer waste from our Commercial subscribers, as it tends to pose the lowest risk of compost contamination. That said, our buckets should never be placed in an area where the general public may access them and potentially use them as trash receptacles (so as to reduce contamination risk).

I understand that Greener Bay Compost has a low tolerance for contaminants (such as produce stickers, plastics, glass, metal, etc.) in the materials it receives from the organizations it partners with and that only individuals trained/educated on how Greener Bay Compost's services work and which materials Greener Bay Compost does and does not accept should be placing materials inside of Greener Bay Compost's buckets. *

Employees/staff and other individuals who are not trained/educated with regard to our service should not be adding any materials to our buckets.

I understand that it is the responsibility of my Business / Organization to ensure that only materials considered acceptable to Greener Bay Compost are placed inside of Greener Bay Compost's buckets, as well as to train/educate it's employees/staff on how Greener Bay Compost's services work and what materials Greener Bay Compost does and does not accept. *

We will not provide any formal training or education to a Business / Organization's employees/staff with regard to its use of our service (outside of communicating with their Business / Organization's designated Point of Contact), as our service is relatively simple and should not require specialized training/education to use. Businesses / Organizations partnered with us are expected to train/educate their own employees/staff, with regard to proper use of our services.

I understand that for Greener Bay Compost to serve my Busineess / Organization that my Business / Organization will need to designate a primary Point of Contact ("point person") within the Business / Organization that Greener Bay Compost may contact/work with, on a routine basis, to address issues relative to contamination, payment, service in general, etc. and that this individual will be responsible for responding to Greener Bay Compost contacts in a timely manner, to faciliate a friendly and functional, working relationship with Greener Bay Compost staff. *

Without such a person designated and available to us, we will unable to serve a Business / Organization.

I understand that because Greener Bay Compost provides a flexible, monthly, subscription-based service that may be cancelled at any time, Greener Bay Compost will not be signing a contract with my Business / Organization. *

The only terms we will be bound by when serving any Business / Organization are our own Terms of Service.

I understand that while Greener Bay Compost will be happy to briefly explain, in person, to my Business / Organizartions leadership and staff, the basics of how Greener Bay Compost services work (and answer any relevant questions) on the day my Business / Organization receives its first bucket(s) from Greener Bay Compost, Greener Bay Compost will not be meeting or engaging in lengthy discuussions with my Business / Organization, in-person or remotely, prior to my Business / Organization making first payment to Greener Bay Compost. *

I understand.

Our experience has informed us that Businesses / Organizations that need to be "sold" on our services, or which come to us not already convinced of the benefits of composting, tend not to sign up with us (regardless of how many presentations we make to them, or how long said presentations may be), and to not stay with us long-term, when/if they do sign up. That said, we seek to partner with Businesses / Organizations that have already decided that they would like to compost with us prior to them requesting a Quote from us.

I understand that Greener Bay Compost does not work through "middle men" in serving the Businesses / Organizations it partners with and that my Business / Organization will need to work with Greener Bay Compost directly/one-on-one, if it wishes to partner with Greener Bay Compost. *

I understand.

"Middle men" make our work less efficient and more expensive/less profitable for us to perform. As such, we are only interested in partnering with Businesses / Organizations willing to work with us directly at this time.
