Residential Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup Day | December 15, 2025

If this day is your next regularly-scheduled Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup Day, please remember to place your full/semi-full bucket(s) outside for us, with lid(s) snapped securely on top, in a safe, easily accessible area of your property that is visible from the street, such as on your front step/porch/patio, in front of your garage, or at the end of a walkway leading to your drive, by no later than 8:00 AM on this day.

Failure to do so may result in your Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup being missed and you needing to wait until your next regularly-scheduled Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup day for us to return, or you needing to pay for a Make-Up Swap.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE YOUR BUCKET(S) AT THE END OF YOUR DRIVEWAY OR NEAR THE CURB, WHERE IT/THEY MAY BE MISTAKEN FOR TRASH AND DISPOSED OF BY YOUR MUNICIPALITY, LOST, STOLEN, BURIED IN SNOW, OR DAMAGED.

Please note: Due to the ever-changing nature of our subscriber count and pickup routes, we cannot guarantee that your Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup will be completed at any particular time of day. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

If you forget to place your bucket outside for us/miss your regularly-scheduled Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup:
You may Request a Make-Up Swap, for a one-time fee of $15.00.

If you know you will miss your regularly-scheduled Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup, prior to us attempting to perform it, due to you going on vacation, out-of-town, etc. and still want your bucket swapped:
You may Request an Early/Late Swap, free of charge.

If you wish to voluntarily skip a regularly-scheduled Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup:
You may Request a Simple Skip, free of charge. Please note that voluntarily skipping regularly-scheduled Bucket Swaps does not entitle you a refund, prorated or otherwise, of any amount(s) paid to us for your Residential Compost Pickup Service.

If you have more materials than you can reasonably fit inside your Greener Bay Compost bucket(s):
You may Contact Us to discuss changing your Bucket Swap/Compost Pickup frequency and/or adding an extra bucket to your service, via our Add-a-Bucket option, for an additional $15.00/month per bucket. You may also visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section of our website for some helpful tips on how the “bridge the gap” between one Bucket Swap and the next, when you have more materials to compost with us than you expected.

PLEASE NOTE: All buckets you may receive from us will come with an “easy peel” lid on top and a BPI-certified compostable liner inside.

If a bucket you are receiving is your first bucket from us, you will find inside your bucket a printed copy of our List of Acceptable and Not Acceptable Materials for Composting.
